In the Summer of 2023, Hawke’s Bay (alongside New Zealand as a whole) was hit with wild weather, including multiple cyclones and record breaking rainfall. This led local rivers to reach breaking point, and widespread flooding. I set out to document this event through photography, including drone photography and traditional photography.

My photos of these events were used by news organisations, the New Zealand government, and national organisations.
